Jaxon gets Baptized by Logan!!
My nephew Jaxon Bogh was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, today!! We are so proud of this decision that Jaxon has made. This was exciting for us as well, as Jaxon asked Logan to baptize him. What a huge honor for Logan and a great experience for him to have prior to serving a mission. Logan was very nervous, but did a great job! I am so proud of him that he has kept himself worthy to perform such an important ordinance and to be able to share it with Jaxon! Boomer went into the dressing roomafter the ordinance was performed and both boys were beaming from ear to ear. This is huge for both of these boys! We love you Jax and are so grateful that you have chosen to be baptized!

Region 5: AF takes 2nd Place! Go Cavemen!
Region 5 (American Fork, Lone Peak, Pleasant Grove, Spanish Fork, and Lehi)Swimming Meet took place Friday and Saturday (Jan. 30 and 31). American Fork High School had high hopes of placing 1st, but had to settle for 2nd. AF had the most events with 1st place finishers, but the numbers add up different and Lone Peak won the Men's meet. AF should've won the meet, but they are all winner's to me. Logan had a great meet with many personal bests(PR). He swam the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:09, beating his previous PR by 5 seconds. (This is huge for a swimmer). On Saturday, Logan swam the 500 freestyle and cut another PR by 15 seconds completing at 6:03. He was in the top 12 in this event. He also swam in the 200 relay as an anchor swimmer, finishing in the top 12 as well. Logan's last event was the 400 relay. He was the 2nd swimmer for his team with a PR of 56 seconds. The relay team placed 6th with a time of 3:41, which is a tenative State Qualifying time. State is in 2 weeks, so keep your fingers crossed. It would be awesome for Logan to compete at State! Go Cavemen!
4oo Relay team: Seth Wynn, Wade Healey, Tyler Cox and Logan Whittaker

Targee Ski Trip 2009!
Targhee 2009 was another great and successful trip. This was our 13th year at Targhee, with only missing 2002 when the Olympics were in SLC. This is a trip that we all look forward to every year and will continue to be a tradition for years to come. The group was smaller this year, but we still enjoyed the time we had with our family and friends that were there. We enjoy relaxing together, sharing memories, and laughing alot with each other. The boys thought it would be fun to run from the hot tub outside and around the lodge and run back into the hot tub. Yes, barefooted! Luckily they didn't get sick or get frost bite on their feet. Even as our family grows, we will continue to take this trip together for as long as we can.
Our yearly picture in front of the fireplace. Kyle, Jensen, Logan, Easton, and Jordyn!
Easton skiied all day with Mom on Saturday. He took her through "Wacky Weasel Way", "Alley Oop Alley" "the Bear Den" "Eyeball Forest" and "the North Pole". It was fun to watch him gain more confidence as the day went on. It snowed all day Saturday and was so fun!
Kyle, Logan and Easton
The old man still has it, according to Logan. He can ski and keep up with the young kids and loves every minute he is skiing. He loves that his kids all enjoy it and that they still want to ski with him. What can I say....when you got it, you got it!
Annie had a bad crash the first morning that we were there. She actually tore her ACL and ended up in bed for the rest of the trip. She was a good sport and only complained that she wished she could have skiied more than a few runs.
This is what happens when you ski and board hard all day long! You don't care where you sleep as long as you can close your eyes!
Jordyn is a die hard as well. Out when the lifts open and she doesn't let her brothers get the best of her. She keeps up with them and enjoys going where they go. She did ski one morning and she still is a great skiier, too! She did a flip one afternoon, but her's wasn't intentional!
Logan is our extreme boarder! Nothing is too hard or too steep for this one. He loves doing flips off cornices and cliffs, much to his mother's dismay! He loves the powder, jumps, and loves it probably more than life itself! He's out when the lifts open and he's done when they close.
Jensen has become our Kamakazi skier! He is doing so great as well! He ski's with the big boys and found that the kiddie run wasn't hard enough. He loves it and would go all day with just 10 minutes to stop to eat cup o' noodles and go potty and then he was out again!
Easton and Jordyn
Easton took ski lessons and learned very quickly. His instructor's name was Carrie and she served a mission to Ogden, Utah. He told her that he had a sister that was on a mission and told her all about his family. He did great and didn't complain once about the powder or the cold. Well, maybe once but it was at the end of the day and he was SOoo tired!

Snow, Snow and more Snow!
It just keeps snowing. Who would have thought that we could have 2 years in a row with record snowfall! We didn't! The cities have already used up their budgets for snow removal, so they aren't plowing the streets in the neighborhoods. It is going to be spring before we see the asphalt again! It's supposed to snow again tonight, so once again we will be shoveling. It's almost a full time job just keeping the driveway and sidewalks clear. Thank goodness for 4WD! The boarders and skiiers at our house love it, so we can't complain......well we can just a little!
It just keeps getting deeper!
Pretty soon we won't have anywhere to put it!

Happy Birthday Pop!
It's great to be able to celebrate your birthday, Pop! We went to Winger's together to share in the big day and to celebrate Pop's birthday. We are so grateful that we were able to be together and acknowledge his big day! 65!!!! but who's counting right? The only thing that could have been better was having Gege with us, she came down with an awful case of the flu, and of course to have Shea with us. But she will be here next year to celebrate all the fun! We love you POP!

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year 2009! We went sledding up Spanish Fork Canyon with John's, Todd's and our family at a friends cabin. We had a great time and enjoyed some of the snow that we have been getting. It was fun to relax with each other and spend some quality time together. Everyone had a blast!
Even Mom got in on the fun!
The kids hooked 4 tubes together with their legs and as many as wanted to or could, got on and went for a ride. Now, when I say kids....I mean the biggest kids.....Boom, Todd and John
Shaela and Ethan headed down with a push
It was a big hill, and you had to hike back up if you wanted another ride....I am sure John was pooped when he got to the top
Logan, Chase, Ethan, and Boom
Logan with Charley, Todd and Ann's dog. Charley kept burrowing his head in the snow
