Famous Friend Quote....

Jensen has a twitter account, and he set up his Twitter, on my phone! I love it!! I get to see all the tweets that he sends and all the tweets that are sent to him. Jensen knows this, and would rather that I took his twitter off my phone, but I wonder what he's thinking! Hahaha!

Today Lindsay Durfey made the greatest statement on Twitter about Jensen. I loved it! It fits him to a T!!

"We all have that one friend who's laugh is funnier than the joke.....J Whitt"

Thanks Lu for making my day!!

Go Badgers! Go Mandy!

The Snow College Badgers made it to the basketball tournament this week at SLCC. We decided it was a great opportunity to watch our favorite Badger Cheerleader....Mandy West!! She was fun to watch and it made me miss watching my girls cheer. The Badgers won the game as well, so it was a great night all around!
She is standing on her teammates hands here....
......and here!
I thought this was such a cute picture of Mand!
Kind of scary at how high she is....
Kadan Worthington is her cheer partner....an AF Cavemen!
Awesome!
Go Badgers!
Yeah, Mandy!!
Gotsta love those cheerleaders.....
So happy that Mandy had this experience in college. I know that she has loved it and has enjoyed getting involved with the students and college life! So proud of you Mand!

It's a Boy! and his name Wesley!!!

Meet Wesley! He is the newest member of our family!! He is a pomapoo, and already spoiled rotten. He has stolen everyone's heart. He gives us all kisses and is learning to "Potty on the Paper!" Hahaha!
Wesley was my birthday present! Wasn't sure if I wanted another dog, but I saw this cute mug and couldn't resist. Boom's requirement was that we get a dog with personality and one that will be able to play catch. Wesley has lots of personality!! We are excited to be dog parents again, and it has been so fun to watch the kids love on him and talk so sweet to him. Amazing the craziness a puppy can bring to a boring household.

A Blue Lemon lunch....

The girls and Gege and Pop, invited me to go to lunch for a birthday celebration. It was fun to go and visit, laugh, and enjoy one another. Blue Lemon was the place....a good time was had. Thanks for a great birthday! The day that just seems to keep giving.....

AF JJ Basketball Champions!!

Jensen's Jr Jazz team became the Champions! It was a great tournament and they handled themselves very well and had great sportsmanship. The team that they had to beat twice to win the tournament, didn't have good sportsmanship, team or fans! It was a great season and we had a great time watching them play this season. These boys are all great friends and have been friends for a long time and I am sure will continue to be friends for even longer. Good group!!
Way to go Punkie Brewsters!! (Not sure where the name came from)
They had a great coach that supported them at every game, even if Jensen fired him on occasion! Hahahah!
Congratulating of the players!
Getting their champions t-shirts!
What a rowdy bench....actually I think they were cheering on their teammates!
Great defense, Jensen
The team....
Shooting around....
That a kid....
Following his shot...
I hope he doesn't smell bad....Hahaha! Jensen is a great defender. I think that is his greatest basketball strength!
Watching the game.....waiting to go in! The players were in charge of subbing themselves in, and I think they did a great job at being fair to all the players. None of the guys were overly dominant and were definitely "Team Players!" It was a great season....can't wait til next year!

"Happy Birthday to me....."

"Happy birthday to me!" You know its not easy looking in the mirror and seeing that you are getting old. Man! I used to think that 47 was so old, and now that I am there.....it's pretty young. I remember talking with my Mom in my twenties and asking her what it felt like to be older, and I remember her saying...."I don't feel older, I feel the same as I did when I was 16, except my body doesn't do the things that I could do when I was that age." Isn't that the truth. I feel young in my mind, but the old bod......not so young anymore. I do try to exercise and eat right, because I want to keep doing the things that my kids love to do. I don't want to be left behind.
Shea and Jord bought this cake for my birthday and suprised me with song and cake and ice cream! They also made me dinner! I couldn't have asked for more from them. I am truly blessed with two amazing daughters.
I even got to blow out the candles. So glad they didn't really put 47 candles on the cake!
I went to lunch with my sweetheart and got to go to Jensen's championship basketball game, in which they won the tournament! Great ways to celebrate my BIG day!!
So grateful for good friends and an amazing family that made my day special and made me feel so loved and appreciated!

20 Weeks and showing!!

Shea is officially 20 weeks pregnant. Half way done! Its has been kind of surreal up to this point because Shea hasn't really looked like she was pregnant, therefore its not reality. But as you can see in the picture below, Shea is finally showing! I don't feel old enough to be a grandparent, but I am excited. I have been thinking of all the things I want to do.............excited to join the ranks with all the other grandparents!
Its a boy!!! In this ultrasound view.....in the center....legs, bum, and the protrusion in between. Isn't technology amazing?
In this view.....His cute little face. A side profile.....his cute nose....
So grateful for good kids, good health, the gospel, and the great joys that 2012 will bring!!

Nicholas Olani Taylor

On March 3, 2012, Nicholas Olani Taylor was born to TC and Abbie Taylor. Our children from other parents (Clark and Ann Taylor, Bud and Laura Swenson. Both couples our very dear friends) Easton, Boom, and I went to visit the new bundle and their parents at the Timpanogas Hospital. Easton could not wait to take his turn to hold the cute baby boy. He even washed his hands without being asked. He is learning how to be a great uncle.
