What happens when 13 year olds babysit

On Saturday night, when we went diggin, we left Jensen and about 5 of his friends eating pizza. They were going to hangout at our house so that Jensen could tend Easton. Before we left Boom asked them if their parents would be okay with us leaving them alone for a while. Koy Dibb said, "We are 13 you know!" Boom then told them that he expected the house to remain in one piece and that they were to be good boys. Austin Pitcher in response said "We may need to know where the First Aid kit is!" Ironic. This is what we came home to. The boys had been playing wiffleball in the front yard and Austin took a swing without looking who was behind him, and guess who was. It has steadily gotten more black and blue as the days go by, but the boys were great because they took E into the house got him comfortable and made him keep ice on the swelling. It could have been so much worse. Jensen and his friends are a great group of boys and I am glad they love to include Easton in all their games. E is usually right in the middle of them. He can proudly say he has had his first "Shiner".

Ah, poor E! He's so tough, and getting your first shiner is a pretty cool experience. :) And I'm glad you had fun diggin! ... and that you didn't die. :) Love ya Marnie!
