Do you remember where you were and what you were doing?

Today as we noticed all the flags blowing in the wind and Boomer remembered that today is a day we should definitely fly our flag from the flag pole, we reminised about where we were when the towers fell and the feelings that we had as we watched the TV all day long to see what was happening in New York City. I remember that I was in my pajamas driving the kids to Junior High when I heard on the radio that the first tower had fallen. I remembered being so very anxious to get home and turn on the TV to find out exactly "What the Crap was happening!" I remember feeling that it was so surreal and that it couldn't possibly be our reality. I spent the entire day glued to the television broadcasts watching and crying as America viewed what was truly happening in NYC. I am truly proud to be an american, and am truly grateful for those that protect our home of the brave. The events of 9/11 are as clear in my mind as if it were yesterday and it amazes me that it was 9 years ago that those events occurred that changed our lives forever!
