Seminary Graduation is held at a Stake level and our Seminary Graduation was held on May 17, 2009. Logan was honored with a 4 year completion certificate to graduate from Seminary. Technically, its called CES (Church Education System) Recognition, but we just called it Seminary graduation. Karie Miller, from our ward, made the kids from our ward their candy lei's. Thanks Karie. We are so proud of Logan and this accomplishment.

SUPRISE!!!

We decided that we were going to have a suprise party for Jensen's 13th birthday. We had it at Pop and Gege's in their backyard. Lindsay Durfey helped me pass out the invitations, and I thought for sure that one of his friends would leak the suprise, but I was mistaken! He was definitely suprised, and didn't have a clue!! Yeah! I love it when I am successful when it comes to suprises. Boomer took him to get a new pair of shoes with a gift card from his grandparents, and then they went and got a Roxberry! Jensen told his Dad that he was spoiled because he got 2 pairs of shoes AND a smoothie!
Pop and Gege's back gates
We hid all his friends in the garage and Boomer told Jensen that we were doing yard work and that he needed to get something out of the garage. Hahaha! His friends!!
He was definitely suprised! He had perma-grin all night!
We ate, and ate!!
We roasted hotdogs and smores in the fire pit
Played 4-square!
Some of his buddies!
Some more of his buddies and one special someone.
We played wiffle ball
And a great time was had by all! When it got dark we projected a movie in the garage, because it was too cold to watch it outside. It was still a success! Happy Birthday Jensen!

Happy 13th Birthday Jensen!

Jensen is now a teenager! Yikes! Can't believe how fast time is passing us by. Seems like only yesterday that Jensen was born. He has grown into a great young man that makes his parents proud. He is a great student, loves his friends (the feelings are mutual), loves baseball, water sports and snow skiing. He loves attending the temple and is an all around joy to have in our family. Love you Jensen!!

Spring Baseball makes us happy!

My favorite time of year has come! Baseball season! Jensen plays on a Super League team that has double headers on Saturday's and a game on Monday night! He loves the game and enjoys playing with his friends. He has played with this team for 4 years and they have really improved each year. Jensen plays 2nd base and left field and does well at both positions. Keep it up Jensen, let's have a great season!

Easton's Soccer comes to an end!

Easton is #3 and he has loved playing soccer. He scored at least 1 goal every game. He loved playing goalie the best. He is done playing soccer for the year, but looks forward to playing it again!

What happens when 13 year olds babysit

On Saturday night, when we went diggin, we left Jensen and about 5 of his friends eating pizza. They were going to hangout at our house so that Jensen could tend Easton. Before we left Boom asked them if their parents would be okay with us leaving them alone for a while. Koy Dibb said, "We are 13 you know!" Boom then told them that he expected the house to remain in one piece and that they were to be good boys. Austin Pitcher in response said "We may need to know where the First Aid kit is!" Ironic. This is what we came home to. The boys had been playing wiffleball in the front yard and Austin took a swing without looking who was behind him, and guess who was. It has steadily gotten more black and blue as the days go by, but the boys were great because they took E into the house got him comfortable and made him keep ice on the swelling. It could have been so much worse. Jensen and his friends are a great group of boys and I am glad they love to include Easton in all their games. E is usually right in the middle of them. He can proudly say he has had his first "Shiner".
After 2 days The day of

"Whose parents go diggin in the mud? Jordyn's"

Jordyn decided that she wanted to take us on a trail across the lake that you can get to the top by the water towers to look over the valley. Kyle, Jordyn, and Bryant Bunnell were in Kyle's truck and Boom and I were in the jeep. Now keep in mind that it had just rained for 2 days and had rained frequently for about 2 weeks prior. Needless to say we were in mud up to the axels and it was very slippery. We were following Kyle and he was making some pretty deep ruts in the mud. Boomer decided that he needed to speed up to get up this hill. Well the ruts shot us out and almost down into the reveen. Let's just say, I about crapped! With 3 tires on solid ground, Boomer and I automatically leaned way back, as if that was going to help. The 3 from the other truck ran out to help and the boys could see that Boomer was okay to back up slowly. It was really very fun, but we decided that the mud was getting worse, so we turned around before we reached the top. We will have to try it again once the trail dries out a bit.

We stopped at a car wash on the way home to get the mud off the vehicles, and I haven't seen so much mud. Boom and Kyle were spraying for at least 30 minutes, and when we had used up our cash, we decided we better be done. However, the undercarriage of the jeep was STILL caked with dirt. In the morning, Boom took the jeep to church, but left half the mud in the driveway and when he left church, he left the other half in the church parking lot. Bryant told Boomer that he thought it was great that we went with them and said "Whose parents go diggin with their kids, and especially in the mud?" That would be Jordyn's.
